Stuart and Anca’s Portland Elopement was probably the most unique elopement I have ever shot. Stuart called me to tell me that they were needing to elope before having a wedding overseas. At the last minute they decided to make a real day of it and elope on the OHSU Tram, or flying potato as Stuart calls it. Plan’s were in place for a Saturday morning, which happened to coincide with a forecast for snow. They pressed on with their plans anyway! Despite freezing temps we all met at the bottom of the tram and rode the tram up while Stuart and Anca exchanged vows. The view was incredible, and the mood was playful. After riding the tram back down and seeing that the snow had kicked into full gear, we scrapped our original plan of shooting at the top of the tram and headed to The Ace Hotel to take advantage of their warm lobby, and fun photo booth. It was such a great time. Stuart and Anca were up for anything and trusted me to make a last minute change of plans. I am so glad we did. We had a really great time and got some beautiful images. Congratulations Stuart and Anca! P.S. The top image from this elopement was featured on Looks Like Film. What an honor!
Stop it! These are amazing!!! I have been looking for a Portland wedding photographer and after seeing these I know that I want you!
This has got to be the coolest elopement I’ve ever seen and you captured it beautifully! Seriously, you are just an amazing and talented wedding photographer. Portland has some really awesome spots for photos too. Love your work and so glad I came across it. Will definitely be giving your name to all my friends in Portland.
Wow! These are so beautiful. I love that this is such a sweet, simple wedding and I’m sure they are thrilled they chose you as their photographer — you did an amazing job! I love that it’s even snowing in Portland for these. So perfect!!!
